This project is my investigation into the possibilities in handloom textiles. With environment being the key focus, this project presents a unique approach to use Raffia, a plant-based material, by weaving it on traditional handloom for creating contemporary apparel using natural dyes. 

So, I offer you in all humility what I have learned in 4 months of exploration in the hope to develop one of a kind, yet relatable and affordable range of outerwear. In this context, I present two collections called, Traces and Troubled Waters, conceptualized in conditions that were characterized by risk and uncertainty.
